Our Process
Introduction
We would love to meet with you, in the comfort of your home to discuss how our process is different from others.
During this meeting we'll discuss and show you how we can get your project built within budget and on time.
Initial Cost Indication Based On Preliminary Plans
We will analyse your Preliminary Plans and show you what your most cost effective options are. We will also share with you our previous experiences and ideas to maximise your build quality and your budget. Our Initial Cost Indication Proposal is then prepared and presented back to you along with a selection of specifications. It's through close collaboration on design and documentation that we can work within your budget constraints to ensure that the project comes to fruition. You are involved and informed every step of the way and we love to work together during this process to ensure you are truly happy with the expected outcome. From our vast experience, we can then offer you an accurate estimate based on these parameters in regards to construction costs.
Construction Issue Drawings / Architectural's
These drawings are created by your Architect or Building Designer so that we can accurately price your project.Your Architect or Designer can then further detail and document the Preliminary Designs and turn them into Construction Drawings.
This is where we detail a specification list to suit your New Home, Renovation or Extension, enabling us to calculate a Fixed Price Construction Tender.
You can rest easy knowing that there won't be any hidden costs further down the track. Each thorough quotation includes expected overall costs and inclusions/exclusions. This comprehensive presentation enables you to make a calculated decision based around facts.
Building Approvals Process
Once your "For Construction" drawings are complete and engineering drawings finalised, we will assist yourself and your designer, if need be through the process to make the application for Building Approval from the relevant authorities. Having previously liaised with the Relevant Building Surveyor , building approval should be easily obtained. Once issued, we can then proceed to construction.
Construction Begins
Now for the most exciting part! Construction begins within the proposed timeline and in accordance with contract and specification documents.
The journey from concept to completion will be as seamless as possible, knowing that our seasoned, experienced team are with you all the way. We use a secure online project management tool to give you access to your project's selections, schedules, communications and budgets 24 hours a day.
The Construction Process
You will meet your Construction Manager Kane, who is the director of the company and your Project Manager who will both assist you through the entirety of your build with every question or query, ensuring you are kept informed and up to date with progress and scheduling of your project. You will get to see your plans then come to life. Its a time to enjoy, reflect on the future of what is to come, and make adjustments along the way.
Practical Completion
Finally (and sadly) construction is complete and handover has arrived, but this isn't the end of the journey. Kane Worthy Constructions carry out a quality check to ensure all work is to our high standards of finish. To give you peace of mind your new home is as beautiful and as well constructed as we both have imagined. Before handing the keys over to clients we make sure you are 100% satisfied. We provide a 7-year structural warranty and will keep in touch with you to ensure that you love your home and to provide you with any further advice you may need.
